Chargelab Payment System
Megapower is pleased to provide the new public EV Charging Network in association with Chargelab, the premier EV Charging Payments system. Chargelab is available via a downloadable mobile application or a web-based system via your browser. Click here for instructions.
Existing Plans
Existing customers of Megapower Charging Network plans (MegaMax40 and MegaMax100) will be paid out according to balances on file with Megapower as of the new public EV Charging Network launch date. These plans will no longer be offered by Megapower.
All You Can Charge
You can request and pay for the All You Can Charge plan via the Chargelab system. The rate is payable in advance and is charged irrespective of the hours used. Please note that existing customers of the All You Can Charge plan must re-register with Chargelab – the existing plan cannot be migrated to the new system. Your credit card must be used with the new system to fund the plan.
The All You Can Charge month begins on the day your credit card is registered in the Chargelab system and automatically renews on the same date of the next month (or the first of the month if the initiation date is the 29th, 30th or 31st and there is no similar date in the next month).
All You Can Charge – Early Registration
Note that no charges will be incurred until the launch date for users registering early, and auto-renewal will occur on the 1st of each month thereafter.
Charging Rate – Start/Stop
Top-Up Charger (Garo Charger), Medium (DBT “Tiny” Charger) and Fast Charger (DBT “Ultra” Charger) rates are incurred when your Electric Vehicle plugs into one of the public chargers and the RFID card is presented (i.e. charging begins), and stop when the RFID Card is presented again, or your EV is unplugged (i.e. charging stops). Your credit card will be billed automatically on the date of the charging session (through Chargelab) according to the rate in the table above, unless you have registered for the All You Can Charge plan.
Rate Changes
Megapower reserves the right to change rates without notice at any time. As may be obvious from news reports, electricity prices are fluctuating worldwide at this time; Megapower cannot guarantee price stability. In particular, note that the pricing above is introductory pricing. Although the vision of Megapower is to ensure the transition of all vehicles to renewable power, Megapower must do so at profit or it cannot offer the public charging service.
